Stamp-Happy Despite COVID-19

How do you fill your time and love what you do?

My happy place is designing and making cards. I am a consultant for Stampin'Up because I love their products and how they all coordinate. During this time of social distancing, I haven't been able to hold craft evenings with a small group of friends. We have taken part in some online challenges and had our share of fun doing so.

As you can imagine being able to spend the extra time playing in my craft room has meant lots and lots of cards being made. No worries, I did challenge myself to send them out to family and friends during their time of self-distancing. Cards have been mailed to Australia, Britain, the US and across Canada. I am also part of a Secret Sister group of demonstrators, from Canada and the USA, who send cards on a monthly basis giving us more great ideas.

When the "Hearth is where the Home is" project was brought forward we all were asked to participate. Hmm! What can I do? I know, I will make a short video on simple card making.

Now here is the challenge - never made one before but this is the result. "Be Kind with your Thoughts!"

In crafting there are no mistakes just unique creations.

"Some days are better, some days are worse. Look for the blessing instead of the curse. Be positive, stay strong, and get enough rest. You can't do it all, but you can do your best. "

What has been your go-to?

How does your garden grow?

Tried an old or new recipe?

A different kind of crafting?
